Michael E. Kibler, a Chicago-based executive coach, has written an article titled “Prevent Your Star Performers from Losing Passion for Their Work” in the Jan 14, 2015 issue of the Harvard Business Review. This article describes a phenomenon referred to as “Executive Brownout.”
Executive Brownout appears to be congruent with the career crisis called “Doomed At Capstone” – and, from reading the article, the remedies for both the individual and for business wanting to retain high performing executives are the same.
